The Google Redirect Domain Virus is one of the sneakiest, most notorious viruses out right now because it will sneak into your system without you ever knowing, change your default redirect settings and then disappear completely undetected by typical anti-virus software.
You’ll know if you have been infected, when doing a Google search will result in a totally random redirection after you press enter. Many times I got redirected to some kind of site that wants to me download movies for free or some kind of other weird advertisement.
If this is happening to you, then you have most likely been infected by the Google Redirect Domain Virus. And what sucks is that the virus not that easy to get rid of because it can’t be detected by your standard anti-virus software. In order to properly scan your system for the virus, you need to have some kind of specialized software designed specifically to treat the virus.
But since that kind of software is hard to come by, you’ll need some basics free tips that you can use right now to get rid of the Google Redirect Domain Virus. I’ve composed 3 of the best tips I found on getting rid of the virus without having to spend any more money on useless software. Hopefully you will be able to follow along and use them to get rid of the virus yourself.
The first thing you’ll need to do in order to start resetting your system is go into My Computer, click on Internet Options and you’ll land on the General tab. There you will see an option to reset your default homepage. It might say Google or whatever you have your homepage set to, make sure you go in there and delete it and then type in http://google.com and click Ok. This will reset your default home page and will stop the virus from redirecting you as son as you open your browser.
Open up your Internet Options and click on the Connections tab, this will open up a new window where you will see a button called LAN Settings, click that and make sure the the only option checked is the “Automatically Detect Settings”. If anything else is checked then make sure you uncheck those boxes and delete any information contained in the form fields. You will also want to reset the Router Settings at this point, if you have one because they can also be infected.
Open up My Computer, click on Network Settings. That will open up a new window and inside you will see an icon called Local Area Connection, you’ll need to right click that and select “Properties” from the fly out menu. That will bring up yet another window where you will see a list of connections, you’ll need to scroll down to the very bottom and click on “Internet Protocol (TCP\IP)”. All you need to do on this screen is make sure you have “Obtain an IP address automatically” selected and checked on both options. If you see some custom DNS IPs put in there, then you’ll need to delete them and it back to “Obtain an IP address automatically”.
If you follow these 3 basic tips, you may be able to get rid of the Google Redirect Domain Virus before it gets too deeply rooted in your system. One thing you’ll want to do is catch the virus as early as you can, hopefully before it has a chance to really corrupt your system. The Google Redirect Domain virus is a sneaky one. Many times you won’t even know that you’ve been infected because it doesn’t behave like a typical virus. In fact, it behaves more like a typical Malware type of software when it is nothing like that.
What the virus does is actually go into your Internet settings and changes the default redirect code to something a little more malicious. It inserts a little code there that makes your browser redirect to a random website (usually about free movie downloads, or other product pitches) where the virus usually embeds some kind of affiliate link so that if you were to buy something through one of those sites, you’d actually make them money.
Now I’ve got to hand it to the Google Redirect Domain Virus creators, that is indeed quite and ingenious way to make a living and earn money. The only thing I don’t get is if these virus creators are that smart, why don’t they just use their skills to make an honest living programming software or something like that. If they would just focus on using their powers for good and not evil, the world might be a little bit better. And you wouldn’t have to get pissed off at this damn virus either!
So here’s how to know if you’ve been infected…
So as you can see, there is a lot of confusion and very little knowledge about this nasty little virus out there in the real world. That’s why I wanted to put this website together, in order to help others discover if they have been infected and then to actually get rid of the virus once and for all.
I have done extensive amounts of research on the Google Redirect Domain Virus and after many hours and lots of coffee, I finally discovered a few different methods that seemed to have finally gotten rid of the virus from my computer for good.
The first technique I recommend you try is to follow this specific video I found on YouTube. This guy walks you through the whole process of cleaning out your system in a step by step fashion so that you don’t have to spend any more money trying to find a cure. After I followed the video, it seemed to get rid of the problem for a few days, but then the virus came back and started doing those annoying redirects again.
So I don’t know if I just got infected again or if the virus was dormant for awhile and then decided to come back in reinfect my computer. This time I wanted to try some software that I found online which claimed that it would cure my Google Redirect Virus or they would give me my money back. At this point, I really didn’t have much else to loose because I had already spent a few hundred dollars at the computer shop with nothing to show for it.
I think they only wanted like $30 bucks for the software, so I said screw it, let’s see what it can do.
And to my surprise, it actually got rid of the virus for good. To this day I have not had another Google Redirect after using this software. I highly recommend that you check it out too if you have a few bucks to spare. Check out my link below.Click Here To Remove The Redirect Domain Virus
Every time you enter a new search query, the Google Redirect Domain virus will take you to fake website and search results no matter what you type in. This can be extremely annoying, especially if you are trying to get something done at work or for school. The worst part is that it cannot easily be treated because the virus software was designed by expert hackers.
The Google Redirect Virus is a “browser hijack” virus that continuously redirects you to fake websites most commonly when you’re doing a web search on Google, Yahoo or Bing. The reason this happens is because the search engines typically redirect you every time you make a new search so that they can track your user data, search query and other data that is of interest to them.
What the Google Redirect Virus does is inject a new redirect every time browser wants to redirect. So for instance, if you search “new movies on dvd”, the virus will then redirect to you a fake website where they will try to sell you some kind of software or product. It might not even be anything related to movies at all, just some random website that the virus takes you to.
This kind of Google Redirect Virus is incredibly difficult to remove because it doesn’t leave any kind of visible footprint on your system whatsoever. In fct, you can’t even detect it with the most advanced types of anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-malware software.
A typical virus usually creates some kind of misplaced file or application which can be easily picked up by anti-virus software. This Google Redirect Virus usually just goes into your PC and changes your redirect settings, then disappears from view making it invisible to anything that tries to remove it.
I’ve have personally gone through hell and back trying to remove this virus from my system. I even took it to some professionals who claim they can fix ANYTHING and that didn’t even do it. So after spending a few hundred dollars on dead end fixes, I decided to create this website to help out anyone facing the same daunting task I was…
