You will also want to reset the Router Settings at this point, if you have one because they can also be infected.

Open up My Computer, click on Network Settings. That will open up a new window and inside you will see an icon called Local Area Connection, you’ll need to right click that and select “Properties” from the fly out menu. That will bring up yet another window where you will see a list of connections, you’ll need to scroll down to the very bottom and click on “Internet Protocol (TCP\IP)”. All you need to do on this screen is make sure you have “Obtain an IP address automatically” selected and checked on both options. If you see some custom DNS IPs put in there, then you’ll need to delete them and it back to “Obtain an IP address automatically”.
